Jack Munro
A pickleball fanatic? Yes!
At just 19 years old, my pickleball journey began unexpectedly at the age of 10, sparked by a shoulder injury while playing baseball. As soon as I started hitting, I was immediately obsessed, and upon full recovery, I made a pivotal decision to trade my baseball glove for a paddle. Venturing into local tournaments, I quickly rose through the ranks, ultimately becoming the youngest 5.0 (pro at the time) player in the world. Despite my early success and deep ties to the original pickleball community, I took a 4-year hiatus to prioritize academics and pursue basketball. However, after 4 years of the high school basketball grind, I was once again hooked on the sport of pickleball. Since resuming my journey about two years ago, I've passionately embraced the sport, solidifying my position as one of the nation's top pickleball prospects.
